As I reflect back on my childhood experiences, in regards to feeling energies, I’m able to connect the time of my life to where I began feeling energies - that was around the time I started grade school.
I now understand that I have always had empath abilities, and understand that I was feeling, absorbing and experiencing the feelings and emotions from the people around me.
School was especially a difficult environment for me, as I always felt bombarded by all of those different energies.
It didn't take me long to realize that nature was one place where I was free from experiencing all those energies.
Feeling and connecting with those energies in nature was such a different experience for me. There was so much peace and tranquility there.
It was that connection made with the plants, the trees, the dirt, the smell of the rain, the blooming flowers, the insects, seeing how it was all intertwined opened up a whole new world for me.
It wasn't until my adult life that I realized that I had also been experiencing mediumship abilities throughout my childhood.
As the years unfolded, I have come to realize that mediumship and empath abilities fall under the umbrella term, psychic gifts.
I was so grateful once I gained an awareness that the following gifts are also a part of who I am;
Clairvoyance - the ability to gain information about an object, person, location, or physical event through extrasensory perception.
Clairaudience - the ability to hear something not present to the ear but regarded as having objective reality.
Clairsentience - the ability to perceive emotional or psychic energy that is imperceptible to the five standard senses.
Clairalience - the ability to smell odors that have no physical source.
Clairgustance - the ability to experience the physical sensation of taste quite randomly without anything entering into their mouth.
Claircognizance - the feeling you get when you just know something without having any idea of how you know it.
Psychic medium - the ability to tap in and communicate with those in the spirit world.
Having the knowledge, that we bring these gifts with us when we incarnate in these physical bodies, has given me the passion and desire to share my gifts with others.
